Emily Hason is a New York–based screenwriter, director, and producer. She has worked across the entertainment industry, including independent feature film production, primetime Olympic sports coverage, national stand-up comedy touring, and late night television. She currently works at Saturday Night Live, where her writing has been featured on Weekend Update.

Emily has an MBA/MFA in Producing from New York University’s Stern School of Business and Tisch School of the Arts. She is also a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied Cinema & Media Studies, Communications, and Economics.

Emily is currently in post-production for a short film she directed and in development on a feature-length script.
