Emily Hason is a New York based screenwriter, director, and producer. She has worked across the film and entertainment industry, including at the Los Angeles Film Festival, at the production company of B-movie legend Roger Corman, and at Late Night with Seth Meyers. She currently works at Saturday Night Live, where her writing has been featured on Weekend Update.

Emily has an MBA/MFA in Producing from New York University’s Stern School of Business and Tisch School of the Arts. She is also an alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied Cinema & Media Studies, Communications, and Economics.

Emily likes to spend her free time watching movies, cooking elaborate recipes, and spoiling her dog. She is currently in post-production for a short film she directed and in development on a feature-length script.
