EMILY HASON is an Emmy-winning producer, as well as a multimedia writer and director. She has worked across the entertainment industry, spanning independent feature film production, primetime Olympic sports coverage, national stand-up comedy touring, and late night television. She currently works at SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, where her writing has been featured on Weekend Update. Emily has also written content for broadcast and digital advertising campaigns, including for the cast of the Avengers.

In 2022, Emily worked with Colin Jost to launch his media production and development company, No Notes. In 2024, she executive produced Peacock’s first ever live comedy special, COLIN JOST AND MICHAEL CHE PRESENT: NEW YORK AFTER DARK, which featured a surprise lineup of comics including Tracy Morgan, Sarah Sherman, Sal Vulcano, and Mike Birbiglia. Emily also worked on the 2024 Summer Olympics as a producer from Tahiti for NBC Sports’ coverage of the surfing competition, for which she won a Sports Emmy award. As a writer, Emily is currently in development on a comedy feature with SNL alum Molly Kearney.

Emily has an MBA/MFA in Producing from New York University’s Stern School of Business and Tisch School of the Arts. She is also a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied Cinema & Media Studies, Communications, and Economics.
